TORONTO and JOHANNESBURG, March 14 /CNW/ - First Uranium Corporation
(TSX: FIU) (JSE: FUM) (ISIN: CA33744R1029) ("First Uranium" or the
"Company") has announced that on March 12, 2011 a fall of ground
accident occurred on 33 level underground at the Ezulwini gold mine
that has claimed the life of an employee.


A temporary work stoppage instruction has been issued by the Department
of Mineral Resources, pursuant to section 54 of the Mine Health and
Safety Act (South Africa), until such time as a preliminary
investigation has been completed.


The Company has extended its sincere condolences to the family and
friends of the deceased.
