KLM Testing Camelina-Based Aviation Biofuel (Ind. Report)

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines reports it is launching around 80 flights from Oslo to Amsterdam using 100 pct RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels) certified camelina oil-seed based biofuel on its Embraer 190 aircraft. The flights are intended to measure the biofuel's efficiency compared to regularly used kerosene aviation fuel.
