Since the area is pediment covered I think the percussion drilling will be more akin to soil sampling for an initial look at what the geochem is and to identify targets. Sounds like a good way to get some geochem data on the cheap in overburden covered areas. I think the Canplats 43-101 gives GRI a glimpse of the geochem signature of Camino Rojo and this shallow drill results may give good info to vector in on drilling targets. I have had conversation with Mr. Schmidt about their plans and they feel that some Caracol Formation is to be found in buried synclines on their claims, this is one way to find out, cheaply.
