11:15 AM EDT, 10/23/2019 (MT Newswires) -- GoGold Resources (GGD.TO) was up nearly 4% after the company on Wednesday said exploration drilling into the San Juan zone at its Los Ricos gold project in Mexico showed high-grade mineralization.
The company said best results from the six-hole exploration program included 6.2 meters testing at 4.23 gold-equivalent grams per tonne and 11.75 gold-equivalent grams per tonne over 2.8 meters.
"We are encouraged with these new results in the San Juan ore shoot and we are quickly demonstrating the potential for near surface mineralization and our drilling program will continue to focus on following the ore shoot down dip and along strike," chief executive Brad Langille said in a release.
GoGold shares were last seen up C$0.02 to C$0.58 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
