08:09 AM EDT, 06/17/2020 (MT Newswires) -- GoGold Resources (GGD.TO) on Wednesday said exploration drilling at its Los Ricos South Project in Mexico showed high-grade silver mineralization at the site.
The company released assay results from nine holes at the site and best results included 1,120.4 grams of silver equivalent per tonne over 4.4 meters and 462 gpt silver equivalent over 4.1 meters.
"These holes represent the first round of drill results from our restarted drilling program, and also include our first drill intercept from the East Vein which is encouraging. With the drilling at Los Ricos North underway, we await assay results over the coming weeks which we believe could substantially broaden the potential of the Los Ricos district," chief executive Brad Langille said in a release.
GoGold shares closed down C$0.01 to C$0.83 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
