Gold World Resources increases its Mount Anderson Yukon gold/silver, polymetallic Project Landholdings to more than 34 sq. km

TORONTO, Sep. 6, 2011, 2011 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --

Gold World Resources Inc. (TSXV:GDW) or (the"Company")is pleased to announce it has increased its mineral rights holdings of its Mount Anderson Yukon (MtA) Project by 38 claims on the west side of the existing block and south along the Becker Creek lineament in a very prospective area of the Wheaton River District. These claims have a common boundary with New Pacific Metals Corporation, excellent ATV access and very encouraging geology, including volcanic, rhyolites quartz, and breccias.

More specifically, the new claims encompass east-west trending structures extending away from the northwesterly-trending Becker Creek lineament interpreted by the Company to exist on the basis of preliminary airborne magnetic survey data (see news release of 25 August 2011). Like the parallel east-west mineralized structures on the main MtA claim group, these structures are characterized by iron depletion and register as magnetic lows. They are also parallel to the Goddell and Porter structures identified by New Pacific Metals on their claims to the west of the MtA Project.

Current Work:

The Company is currently assessing assay results received from grid soil samples (50m, 25m, 10m) and rock samples. These and the airborne survey results will guide the Company in selecting drill targets and establishing guidelines for future exploration and development work.

The Company is also awaiting results of the 1,000-lb sample taken for metallurgical testing so that detailed technical specifications can be provided in order to obtain commercial terms from smelters for bulk sample processing. Samples would be transferred by truck to harbor facilities at Skagway, Alaska, about 2.5 hours by all weather highways south of the mine and which would provide a convenient, cost-efficient access to transfer the direct shipping ore to smelters bordering the Pacific.
