VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire -04/11/12)- George Sanders, President of Goldcliff Resource Corporation (TSX-V: GCN.V - News) reports the occurrence of several bedded-graphite outcrops on the Company's 100 per cent-owned Ainsworth property near Kaslo, B.C. On the Bjerk target in the north of the 10,280 hectare claim block, graphite lenses have been observed in several road cuts along logging roads used to access the area. Graphite has also been identified in near surface hand dug pits. Because they have been interpreted as having been caused by graphitic occurrences rather than sulphide occurrences, a number of airborne geophysical conductors in the Bjerk target area have also been identified for further follow up.

The historic Ainsworth-Kaslo Silver camp produced 4.7 million ounces of silver during its time of operation. Goldcliff's property, which is located within the Ainsworth-Kaslo Silver camp, was acquired by staking in 2006 with the intent of providing the company with exploration exposure to high-grade, replacement-style silver mineralization. Subsequent airborne and ground exploration work has identified five target areas with two advanced silver targets, the Big C and Bjerk. Recent activity in the graphite space has caused the company to re-evaluate the previous exploration work and to follow up on the near surface graphite occurrences that had previously been ignored.

One of the two producing Canadian graphite mines is located approximately 55 kilometres south of the property and is highway accessible.

As soon as snow conditions permit, Goldcliff will further investigate the graphite in the Bjerk target area with a view to better determining graphite quality and quantity potential.

Leonard W. Saleken, PGeo (geologist), and Edwin R. Rockel, PGeo (geophysicist), are the qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101 who supervised the preparation and verification of the technical information in this release.
