And not to come across as 'Positive Pat' but there is merit to his comments. We don't want gold to go straight up to the sky, it's not healthy. I see no economic reason why gold will not continue to rise over the long term as long as it's valued in US Dollars. It's as clear as day and hindsight supports this. Now, if the Fed Reserve or US or World gov'ts have some unheard of trick up their sleeves...that's another thing.
