I generally got the sense that Jim is very concerned about the 'Box Tickers' and that he is being highly meticulous about this project and everything about it.

He cited an example of another project he worked on once with placer ore. The regulators do not like placer ore in a resource estimate, and apparently is fairly uncommon. In this instance he proved to the regulators that his calculations were correct, supported his arguments and convinced them it was a proper resource estimate. Then Jim enjoyed watching the resource being extracted exactly as he said it would be!

What's taking so long, and whats with the delay of news? Well, Jim steered well clear of anything internal with news releases and to do with that sort of thing. Wouldn't go there even one smidge. So you can't speak of any assay delays? 'Oh, the assays? The labs are swamped!' Well, this is kind of what I was asking....

He then explained how there HAVE been major delays and that the labs are very backed up and that they alone are sending 25 buckets per day, each with 7-8 assays per bucket. He said he has known Eric Hoffman for 30 years and sometimes you do favours for the lab, sometimes they do favours for you and that we are getting treated very well at the lab. They have now set it up that anything over 25ppb gets auto rerun, no authorization required and that that has sped things up considerably.

Ok, I know I'm jumping around a bit but I'd like to share this stuff as I'm busy and this call was yesterday and my memory fades quickly with time.

I'm going to summarize here. The vibe I was getting from Jim is that he is doing things in a matter that has nothing to do with the shareholders, the share price, the price of gold or anything other than attempting to put the data and information in place that GNH could possibly build an uncontested 43-101 resource estimate at some point in the future. There is no overselling, underselling, pumping, dumping, or nothing like that coming from this guys head. He wants to be exactly right about EVERYTHING. He is very focused. I think this property has some unique challenges (as do all properties) and that this actually invigorates him to a degree.

I'm not sure many of the general investors know this but one of Jim's great friends goes by the name of Francis Manns. I'm actually not sure that Jim knows that I know this! Jim and Francis have worked in a parallel universe for the entirety of their careers and have a great deal of respect for each other. Jim was talking about how he was joking with Fran (when Jim talks he is not concerned about what I understand...kind of like the box ticker, the 'Boss' who I know is his wife, and 'Fran', but I knew who he was talking about)at one point at how there are probably only 2 people in the world who could understand the complexity of the data that Jim would put forth to prove the grade of this deposit, and that it was the two of them.

Well Fran is the head of TSX compliance in mining and is pretty much the top Box Ticker in the world. From what I understand Jim and Fran got together and used the GNH data to come to some sort of conclusion as to - I will assume the grade - and that although they used different methods of calculating...they both came within 1/100th of the extact same figure...or as he said the second decimal point. This is what these guys do in their spare time, and I'm not even joking about that.

When a guy like this is having a conversation about this kind of stuff, you have to think that all the blathering us investors do is simply noise to a guy like Jim. Which brings me to my next question.

'Jim, I'm going to put my shareholder hat on here for second ok? Ok. Do ya think that there's any way that you could sound a little more positive when you are talking about Golden Hope? Have you seen the share price lately?'

Jim’s reply was, well my boss (his wife) looks at the share price every day but she has been around this business a long time and knows that the share price isn’t always reflective of what’s going on in the company (something like that). I am also a shareholder. 'Well, how are you feeling about it?? Do you think it’s quite extraordinary that if the grades come in and things keep working out…that this thing could be unbelievable and a once in a lifetime discovery?' Well, anytime you get a resource that breaks the million ounce mark it is an incredible thing. (Note, he was NOT saying this is over 1M oz’s…he was just talking) Our new board member Zurowski knows quite a lot about this sort of thing and seems to be VERY positive about our company.

He then went on to tell me how his approach of taking a disinterested opinion which goes back to his earlier statements about how he has been trying to kill this deposit, but has been doing a lousy job of it.

There you have it. Probably some other stuff in my head..but I gotta run.

Oh ya..just reread. I asked Tilsley why he was so concerned about the regulators and he said, 'well they have their favourites.' So, are we on their target list for some reason? He explained that things at GNH were not always run a certain way (and this is referring back a long time, when he actually never even got paid for work, like 80's or 90's?) So, I think he is compensating to some degree.
