Although we are getting somewhat sidetracked here,
the comments and the viewpoints are well taken, on both sides.

So far as the unnamed report possibly being written by Larry Hoover,
(or James West or someone else); whomever it was, the message writer,
Rosbg, is expressing what just as easily could be taken as admiration for
the power of the report to sway its readers as she (or he) is condemning it.

“Maybe someone will write a report about that stock which
will get people dreaming stupidly unrealistic dreams once more.”

Those words put the blame on the reader more than the writer.
After all, it was Rosbg who allowed herself (or himself) to be
put in the frame of mind to dream “stupidly unrealistic dreams.”

The key here is: Who is to blame when someone writes a report
which “will get” someone to dream “stupidly unrealistic dreams”?

Also, of course, when it comes to risking money, investors have
the responsibility of making diligent and careful evaluations for
themselves, after weighing and balancing the relevant facts they’ve
gathered and researched from multiple sources.

No bullies (that I know of) entered the residence or work site of
Rosbg with guns drawn as the tools of persuasion. Likewise, I
doubt we should automatically jump to the conclusion that the
new hub Glorieux created for GCM will be an evil place mindless
fools will be helplessly sucked into “to get fleeced again.”

Obviously, Hoover or West (or someone else) is responsible for the
content of what he writes, not the enthusiasm behind its expression.

As Glorieux is launching his new GCM Message Hub, denouncing
it sight unseen is the hardly the finest way to react. Someone having
constructively gone to the trouble of laying out a framework for
valid investment discussions hardly merits the complaint in advance
that it’s bound to be misused and abused.

Meant to be taken seriously or not (as some kind of half-baked warning
or jaded expression of frustration), blaming others for putting “stupidly
unrealistic dreams” into my head will hardly serve as strong enough
reason to convince me to Stay Out, in fear of being “fleeced again.”
