GOLDEN ODYSSEY APPOINTS NEW DIRECTORS

Golden Odyssey Mining Inc. has appointed two new directors, effective immediately.

Tony Fogarassy, MSC, LLM, is the general counsel, corporate secretary and director of corporate projects for the NaiKun Wind Energy Group. Mr. Fogarassy graduated as the gold medallist in geological sciences from the University of British Coulmbia and obtained his law degree at UBC a few years later. Mr. Fogarassy has a desirable combination of legal expertise in both natural resources as well as matters related to aboriginal law.

Matt Wayrynen is chief executive officer of TrichoScience Innovations, a Vancouver-based life sciences company that has patented and is developing a revolutionary new hair cell replication technology that has the potential to become the world's first non-surgical, permanent cure for baldness and other forms of hair loss. He has extensive experience in venture capital management and has successfully raised funds for public and private ventures in Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Tyrone Docherty the president of Golden Odyssey Inc. states: "I am excited to have Tony and Matt join our board. I believe their talents will greatly enhance our corporate development".

Golden Odyssey would also like to announce the resignation of director Ross Orr, effective immediately. The company would like to thank Mr. Orr for his time and dedication to Golden Odyssey.

The company further announces that it has granted incentive stock options for the purchase of up to 500,000 common shares, at a price of 22 cents per share, to certain directors and officers of the company. The incentive stock options are exercisable on or before July 14, 2014. This grant is made pursuant to the company's stock option plan.
