TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 8, 2014) - Goldeye Explorations Limited (TSX VENTURE:GGY) is pleased to announce that Richard Nemis will be joining its Technical and Corporate Advisory Board.

Richard Nemis

Mr. Nemis, a Sudbury native, graduated from the University of Ottawa and Osgoode Law School. He practiced in the fields of corporate, commercial and securities law.

He founded Noront Resources Ltd. in 1983 and, in the Ring of Fire, McFaulds Lake area in north eastern Ontario, Noront made major nickel and chromite discoveries. The chromite discovery is potentially considered to be the largest in North America. In recognition of his contributions to the company's success, Mr. Nemis was appointed Chairman Emeritus of Noront and in 2010, Mr. Nemis was a co-recipient of the Bill Dennis Award for a Canadian discovery for prospecting success, by the Prospectors and Developers Association.

Mr. Nemis is currently the President and CEO of Bold Ventures Inc.

Goldeye has granted Mr. Nemis 200,000 options expiring April 7, 2017 to purchase common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $0.15 per share. The grant is subject to any further required regulatory approvals.

About the Weebigee Project

Goldeye's 100% owned Weebigee Project is located 227 kilometres north of Red Lake in Northwestern Ontario and is comprised of 363 claims totaling approximately 6000 hectares. The NW Arm claim block covers approximately 20% of the total project area and hosts the highest density of gold showings in the Sandy Lake Greenstone Belt.

The project is adjacent to Sandy Lake First Nation (population approx. 3000) which has excellent infrastructure including an airport with daily direct flights to Winnipeg, Red Lake and Sioux Lookout and winter road connection to Red Lake. All weather access roads are located within one kilometre of the Knoll, Bernadette and RvG4 areas. Goldeye recently signed a comprehensive Exploration Agreement with Sandy Lake First Nation and is pleased to have a strong, mutually beneficial relationship with the people of Sandy Lake First Nation.
