Message: Gen 3 machine

Dear Junobeach,

Thanks for posting your questions on Agoracom.

With regards to your first question:

“Is the Gen 3 machine going to be constructed during the testing taking place on the Gen 2 model or does it have to wait until this testing takes place?”

Yes, the Gen 3 will be fabricated and assemble while Gen 2 testing will be underway.  In fact, we will continue Gen 2 testing while Gen 3 is operational.  This being said, since Gen 2 testing will be starting soon, it’s to our advantage to start final fabrication and assembly of the GEN 3 only after the GEN 2 is operational.

Now regarding the second part of your question:

“Is the hot commissioning on the Gen 3 model still expected to take place in Q1 of 2018?”

I cannot say for definitive at this time, but even if the timing did slip by one-quarter it would not delay the project since we will have the GEN 2 operational this October.  As I have previously stated, what we are doing is unique, the GEN 2 and the GEN 3 are prototypes, so our timing regarding their start dates are really guestimate until the last minute.

This is why I waited so long before giving an update with a start date for the GEN 2.

Regards
