Message: Pilot plant update disappointment

Saint2709,

you're using the word "disappointment" here, which IMO is completely unjustified.

Sorry to say this, but it's only a disappointment for those who don't understand the nature of Research and Development (R§D).

Basically R§D is a time-consuming and open-ended process. There are routes to success. Those who have experience in this matter will prefer this pathway :

- a moderate delay in the front-end (in our case GEN1+2),

rather than ongoing (costly) delays in the back-end (in our case GEN3) due to haste + negligence in the front-end.

Furthermore, considering the importance of this disruptive technology, the delay is marginal in the total scheme of the process.

Lastly, remember that in this new area HPQ is the only, repeat only, company in the world with impressive tangible results so far. All of course thanks to our partner PYR.

Hope this helps.
