Message: The amount of silicon required to make hydrogen

My understanding is that an undisclosed amount of nanosilicon powder will be shipped to Appolon. They will use it instead of the actual powder they use for their pocket hydrogen generator and then they will be able to tell how much more hydrogen it will produce in comparison.

According to this study: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.mdpi.com/2079-4991/10/7/1413/pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi7m_mfusftAhUOVs0KHZTKAtsQFjAEegQIDRAB&usg=AOvVaw3t6tYmTeScHtdZcKCVpe2F

The amount of hydrogen produced depends one the level of alkali in the water based solution and the size of the nano particles. More alkali is better and smaller particles are better.

The interesting thing about it is that the hydrogen can be produced with nano silicon event at low temperature (0 Celsius and lower). This can be great to overcome energy generation challenges in the north.
