Developing Processes For The Low-Cost Manufacturing Of High Purity Silicon Metals For Next-Generation Lithium-ion Batteries

Achieved final critical milestones, completing a successful silicon pour

Message: Competition?

Hi everyone - posting this with a certain amount of trepidation, in case I'm accused of being a 'basher'; which I'm not.

On the PYR Board, Wheresjackbenny pointed out a company called Tekna, which has a very similar technical and operational profile as Pyro in plasma technology. And Tekna seems to be based out of Sherbrooke, Quebec.

Here's a link to Tekna's website :https://www.tekna.com/.  And here's what they say about nanoSilicon and EVs;

[...] "Tekna has developed and patented its industrial process for the production of high purity spherical silicon nano powder. Sample deliveries of high-performance nano silicon powders are revolutionizing the global battery market. Nano silicon solution for rechargeable batteries could provide electric vehicles with 60% more distance travelled on a single charge. The Lithium-Ion battery market is driven by the electrification of transportation (cars and planes), mobile devices and power grids."

Note the ".... has developed and patented...." part.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Tekna being not just a competitor, but also somewhat ahead of HPQ?

Brgds,

A-G
