Message: Hydrogen via nanoSilicon and Trekhy and Ballard Power Systems

Ballard's fuel cell technology requires carrying on board pressurised hydrogen cylinders.... the rest of the electrifcation process is probably the same as the Trekhy's, I'm guessing.

The problem with carrying around pressurised hydrogen tanks in your bus or car is the risk of explosion and fire (think Heidelberg). The other big problem is storing H2 at centralised locations so buses and cars can refuel.

Isn't there an opportunity and a market for nanoSilicon generated hydrogen at Ballard that HPQ could explore. All the driver has to do is tear open a packet of NSi and pop it into the water tank, no need to go looking for a hydrogen refuelling station - the Ballard fuel cell does the rest.

Lots of possible synergies here.
