The "imminent deal" was announced as it is a multiple company transaction and there are  people in organizations fully involved in this specific transaction and know we are a micro-cap public company which would announce the deal upon signing. The company wanted to ensure ALL shareholders were made aware of this potential deal in a news release  This was done for fairness to all shareholders and no investor may have an unfair advantage.
