12:23 PM EDT, 07/17/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Karora Resources (KRR.TO) on Friday said it closed the C$18.5 million private placement of shares to mining financier Eric Sprott and an unnamed institutional investor.

The company sold a total 36.5 million shares priced at C$0.506 per share in the placement, with Sprott taking 26 million of the offer.

Kakora shares were last seen up C$0.01 to C$0.69 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
