Val-d’Or, Quebec, January 26, – Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX)

("Knick Exploration" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the start of a 3,000 meter program of diamond drilling to test for "Osisko type" gold mineralisation on its Malartic West property located in Cadillac Township, Quebec. This program includes testing selected induced polarization and VLF-electromagnetic anomalies and specific junction areas of structural features outlined by a recent integrated land satellite image study. Forage G4 is the drill company performing the work.

President comments :

We acquired the West Malartic property in June 2009 and are already drilling in January 2010 following the completion of line cutting, geophysics and field geology, as well as several in house studies. This demonstrates the know-how and determination of the Knick team.

East-West Property Update:

Thirty eight holes (7,229m) were drilled in 2009 on the East-West property, located next to the Wesdome (WDO) operating Kiena Mine. The gold results for the 38 holes will be released when the final analyses have been received. Compilation work of the phase I exploration is on going and will be used to define targets in a phase II program of deep drilling and mechanical stripping.
