VW is going to be likely the winner of the BEV madness. According to my "pre-Corona" research, they should have produced 600k EV cars worldwide this year and about 1 mill. in 2023, by opening an ID4 factory directly in the US. But earlier this year, they had a sofware issue, which practically halted the production and with Covid, the production was standstill for 1.5 month.

The ID3 is slightly smaller than the Model 3 and ID.4 is direct competitor of Model Y.
