For the record, I sold 10  September 17 covered call contracts  at 20 and lost the stock at midnight Sept. 17. I've sold covered calls for 40 years off and on and never had them exercised. I've always wondered when they would get exercised so I sold the 10 contracts at a close exercise price.  Made a nice profit and turned right around and bought the stock back and I'll sell more calls, probably at 30 soon.
