In reference to my earlier post about DLE and LAC, I thought at the time that the previous interest in DLE as related to the Cauchari-Olaroz mine in Argentina was back in the days of Western Lithium.  It turns out that the year was 2014, the year that Western Lithium merged and became Lithium Americas.

The other company, the DLE company, was POSCO.

POSCO is a South Korean Steel company that was doing some work in the area of DLE at that time.  I believe that the deal with POSCO and LAC ultimately fell through, but it does show that LAC was looking at DLE all the way back in 2014 as it applied to the Cauchari-Olaroz mine... and here we are now in 2022 and Jon Evans expresses interest in DLE, some 8 years down the road from the POSCO days.

Re-inventing the wheel?  No, because LAC has not committed to DLE now, only to keeping an open mind to DLE as evidenced in today's earlier PR about the collaboration with Arena Minerals.

Round and round we go, onward through the FOG!
