Thank you for your post, and it is correct to scare stories, there are many of them, but not here in the Nordics, because the operation from an EV is much cheaper, approx. 30% of petrol driven, and then servicing is also cheaper. No doubt the performance decreases with lower temperature, but as transport to and from work it is absolutely perfect, and the efficiency increases all the time on the batteries.

I myself drive a vw T-roc petrol, and switch to EV when I have cash.

Both my children drive Tesla Y and VW ID4 respectively, and are both super happy with them, and save a lot every month.

As mentioned in another post, isn't there a shortage of Lithium right now, and as described it can only be wondered?
