11:10 AM EST, 01/17/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Lundin Mining (LUN.TO) reports that it has met its 2017 production targets. The company produced 203,000 tonnes of copper, 150,000 tonnes of zinc, and 22,000 tonnes of nickel.

The year-end net cash balance was approximately $1.1 billion. Year-end cash and cash equivalents stood at approximately $1.6 billion following the fourth quarter early redemption of $550 million principal amount of 7.50% Senior Secured Notes.

Lundin will release its Q4 earnings on Thursday February 15, 2018.
