Hot Stocks On The Move: Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL), MannKind Corporation

MannKind Corporation (NASDAQ:MNKD) gained 6.47% at $7.41 after trading 7.47 million shares. The price target of the stock was upped by Piper Jaffray to $8.40 last month, and analysts at Brinson Patrick have assigned it a Market Outperform rating. Earlier this month the company secured $160 million in senior notes financing from Deerfield Management Company to support its regulatory process and commercialization activities for Afrezza, MannKind’s inhaled insulin product. Technically, on the daily chart, the stock has broken to the upside out of a symmetrical triangle pattern that formed after the stock’s sharp rise from $4 to $8 during May-June. The outlook appears to be highly bullish.
