Megastar Development Corp.: Ralleau VTEM Airborne Survey Identifies 49 Anomalies
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2009) - Megastar Development Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:MDV)(FRANKFURT:M5Q) is pleased to announce results from a recently completed VTEM Airborne Survey on its 100% owned Ralleau Property located near Quevillon, Quebec. The property represents a total of 215 contiguous claim cells covering over 12,100 hectares amassed by Megastar over the past number of years.

The Ralleau Property covers a felsic to mafic volcanic sequence over 20km of strike length. This belt was interpreted by Geologie Quebec to include three major felsic domes: West Dome (North of Lac Wilson), Central Dome (Northwest of Lac Novellet) and East Dome (East of Lac Sheilann). Two main regional deformation corridors are believed to have deformed the felsic domes: Urban Deformation Zone and the Cameron Deformation Zone. The latter has been recognized as being auriferous along strike and also is associated with the Langlois Zinc Mine, a volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit.

The presence of major felsic domes which may represent volcanic centers are known to be favorable environment for volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits (VMS) throughout the Abitibi. The company's objective with this survey was to identify conductive anomalies which could be caused by underlying VMS deposits. The survey clearly identified a total of forty nine (49) anomalies classed according to conductivity and strike length as priorities 1 to 4. Eight (8) of these anomalies were classified as Priority 1, additional eight (8) as priority 2, thirteen (13) were classified as priority 3 and finally twenty (20) more were classified as priority 4. Because VMS deposits are more often than not associated to anomalies of shorter strike length and moderate to low conductivity, the Company believes that all 49 anomalies will need to be reprioritized following a field mapping program to verify those anomalies that may be near surface, and corroborate them with favorable geological environments (rock type, alteration, and structural context). Among these, the anomalies located near the felsic domes will be studied very closely.

"Our focus on the Ralleau area has grown significantly in the past few years," said Megastar President & CEO, Dusan Berka. "It is now becoming an area play with outstanding potential. To amass and own 100% of such vast underexplored favourable volcanic sequence in the world-renowned Abitibi Greenstone Belt is a significant accomplishment for our Company. Recent VTEM surveys and high profile discoveries that have resulted bodes well for our large Ralleau property which includes a 24km strike length."

Megastar intends to complete a reconnaissance field program designed to verify the outlined anomalies in order to reprioritize them according to both geophysical and geological characteristics. A ground geophysical survey of some anomalies may then be required prior to drill testing depending on field observations.
