Locals in Timmins have reported that diamond drilling to the immediate north of the Melkior Carsscallen Gold Project incurred by a private company along strike to the Zam Zam zone, had their first drill hole return very significant mineralization levels over extreme core lenths according to the project manager on site.

The onsite project manager spoken to when the drills started to show up last week, stated that the company, which was present in the area at a time prior to Melkior entering into the project area to the south, was in the process of survey technology development work before Melkior had optioned the property base below them to the south. The private company had approached Melkior to offer a target data set attached to the regions geophysical returns and even offered to drill a hole at their own expense to test what was considered the prime target area of merit attached to the survey results. It was turned down outright unfortunately.

Nonetheless, exciting visual results were said to have come out of the first two holes which are pending logging and assaying returns. If the results are positive for Gold mineralization (the core was reportedly mineralized will in excess of 50 meters in each hole) this project could have a major impact on the Melkior neighbors to the south.

As the company is private they state that they can divulge whatever information they want about it and are actively seeking a partner to further the discovery. San Gold Exploration is known to be one of the parties looking at the core and project area where they already have contiguous land holdings themselves to the immediate north and east of the discovery hole region.

We will ask permission from the company to list its name and will report back with it in due course once it is obtained. Apparently this development is the reason that a lot of promotional talk has been taking place on some other boards so stay turned for more.
