08:33 AM EDT, 07/23/2018 (MT Newswires) -- Bonterra Resources (BTR.V) said Friday it has firmed up its agreement to acquire Metanor Resources (MTO.V) for $78 million to gain control of the Urban Barry Camp gold region.

The company said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Metanor for $0.73 per share while spinning out its Larder Lake property to shareholders.

Shareholders will vote on the acquisition on September 18.

Bonterra shares closed Friday at $0.38 on the TSX Venture Exchange while Metanor closed at $0.58.
