Nemaska Lithium Plunges to 5-Year Low After Whabouchi Project Update

12:49 PM EDT, 10/15/2019 (MT Newswires) -- Nemaska Lithium (NMX.TO) has plunged 25% to a five year low after reporting that it was letting the 64 employees at Whabouchi Project go, mainly because of the difficulty the company has experienced in finalizing financing. As yet, no definitive agreement has been arrived at with the Pallinghurst Group.

The Shawinigan Phase 1 plant will also shut down at the end of December 2019.
