Cliff T. Davis: Chief Executive Officer, Director

Mr. Davis was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2008 after having served as Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer since 2002 and CFO from 1994 to 2000. During the period from 2000 - 2002 he was the Chairman and CEO of a public chemical manufacturing company. Mr. Davis is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Prior to joining Nevsun in 1994, he was an audit partner in the international accounting firm, KPMG where he provided services predominantly to public companies in the resource, industrial and financial sectors. Mr. Davis has had experience as a director of a number of other Canadian public companies in the industrial and mining industries. He currently sits on the board of one other junior resource company.


R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus: Director, Chairman

R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus is presently an independent business advisor to the mining industry. Previously he was Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions for Endeavour Financial and was responsible for merger and acquisition mandates. Prior to joining Endeavour Financial, he was a partner at the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and headed that firm's Global Mining Group. For over 25 years, Tookie has focused on significant international exploration, development and mining ventures, and all aspects of their structuring and finance. Tookie is currently a director of Bema Gold Corporation and until recently, Canico Resource Corp. Before he resigned in 1997 on completion of a successful takeover, he was Chairman of the Board of BC Sugar Refinery Limited.


Trevor Moss: Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Moss is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years experience in the international mining industry. Having earned both a Bachelor’s degree in England and a Master’s degree in the USA Mr. Moss has gained most of his experience internationally working on various continents. He joined the Company in August 2008. Mr. Moss is a corporate and project management executive having experience over the breadth of the mining industry from major corporations such as Cyprus Amax, Newmont and Barrick to junior developers including Tiberon Minerals and Gabriel Resources. Furthermore, Mr. Moss has extensive experience within the industry services sector having held senior positions in consulting and contracting companies such as Aker Kvaerner. He has held the positions of CEO and director in a number of private companies and held directorships within public companies.

Peter Hardie: Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hardie has been with Nevsun since February 2005 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in August 2008 after serving as Controller. Mr. Hardie is a Chartered Accountant and came to Nevsun after 5 years of public practice experience, including 4 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver with their mining department



Maureen Carse: Corporate Secretary

Ms. Carse has been with Nevsun since August 1995 in the position of Corporate Secretary. Ms. Carse has a twenty-year background of marketing, accounting and office management with public and private companies and as a self employed consultant. Ms. Carse is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the BC Institute of Technology.


Stan Rogers: Bisha Project General Manager

Mr. Rogers joined Nevsun in August 2005. Mr. Rogers is a chartered engineer with 37 years of experience as a professional mining engineer including General Manager positions in mining operations in the UK, Africa, the Middle East, and China. Most recently Mr. Rogers was responsible for bringing a greenfield project into production which was the first foreign owned base metal mine in China in over 100 years. Mr. Rogers is responsible for managing the Bisha project and the full development of the Eritrea country management team.

John A. Clarke: Director, Vice-Chairman
Mr. Clarke was appointed Vice-Chairman in August 2008 after having served as Chief Executive Officer of Nevsun Resources since September 1997. Prior to joining Nevsun, Mr. Clarke was an Executive Director of Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited of Ghana. He joined Ashanti in 1982 and contributed to establishing Ashanti's gold exploration program throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Clarke holds a B.Sc. in metallurgy from University College Cardiff, a Ph.D. in metallurgy from Cambridge University and an MBA from Middlesex Polytechnic.


Robert J. Gayton: Director

Bob Gayton is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years' consulting experience in accounting and finance, most recently as V.P. Finance for Western Silver Corporation (TSX:WTC, AMEX:WTZ) and as a Director and Audit Committee Chairman for other publicly trading companies. Prior to this Dr. Gayton was an audit partner with Peat, Marwick Mitchell Chartered Accountants and a member of the Faculty of Commerce at the University of British Columbia. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) in both Ontario and BC and holds a Ph.D. in Business from the University of California. Dr. Gayton joined us in November, 2003 as a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee




Gary E. German: Director

Gary German is a professional engineer with over thirty five years of senior management experience in the building of companies, projects, operating teams, and financing of global resource developments. He was most recently Managing Director (Resources), Kingsdale Capital Corp and previously the Senior Advisor to the President-CEO of Ma'aden, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's mineral resource development corporation, funded with US $1 billion. In the mid 1990’s, as Chief Operating Officer and Director of TVX Gold Inc (TSE), he was responsible for worldwide operations. These positions followed twenty-eight years in the Noranda Group, culminating as Senior Vice President. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Mr. German's Noranda international responsibilities included major projects in Chile, industrial & mine developments in Brazil and executive strategic activities in some 20 countries. He is Chairman or Director of a number of international mining and development companies, public on the TSX or AMEX, and other not for profit organizations.




Gerard E. Munera: Director

Mr. Munera, a US citizen, is Managing Partner of Synergex Group LLC and serves on the Boards of Dynamic Materials Company, Meridian Gold, Mag Industries and Zaruma Gold . A graduate of the French premier Ecole Polytechnique and of Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees in Paris, Mr. Munera has a diverse background which includes engineering, economics, sales, finance, operations, mining and metals. His tenures, most of which were at the Management, CEO, Executive VP and/or Chairman level, include Pechiney (20 years), Union Miniere, Rio Tinto and Minorco, an affiliate of Anglo American. Based for many years in various countries of Europe, Africa and South America, he is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Mr. Munera has been awarded the French Legion of Honor (officer) and the Algerian war medal.
