On Stop Loss Orders

Too much trouble to find and repost something from a month ago. Thus here it is - easy to remember.

Placing a 'Stop Loss Order' is akin to:

The Sheep buying the knife and giving it to the Butcher before climbing onto the Butchers bench to go to sleep.

If you are unsure as to the value of a stock you bought, why did you buy it in the first place?
