If u sell a stock to take a loss you can't buy it back for 30 days in Canada otherwise you are denied the loss. This has nothing to do with the 50% taxable portion.

This stock is not down because of TAX LOSS selling, it is to early in the game for that. None of the accumulaters are selling(Sprott, Cormark, or Pinetree). It is general market conditions. Also lack of news on Assays and Tonnage. I have no worries. I bought at 77 cents, 3.50 and 5.60.
