Somebody with some money is very interested in what is going on up near mcfaulds. Fugros Dash 7 is up there surveying almost everything between mcfaulds and the Victor diamond mine. Thats not a cheap airplane to charter. Will be there for two or three weeks. In comparison, the airplanes that did the original surveying for NOT and friends were tiny.
The ice runways have just about had it for the year. They're getting pretty rotten now but hundreds upon hundreds of barrels of fuel have been flown in.
Somebody asked earlier if there was any heavy equipement working at mcfaulds. The answer is no. There is no road to get it in there and no airplane that will haul a back-hoe.
Was at the Thunder Bay airport the other day and notices a brand new sign on one of the hangars saying ACTLABS. Unfortunately, they won't just let you in to go through the test results.
