Ontario to improve power grid for the north by 2013.

Ontario is spending millions on improving power transmission. There are a couple links below. Some of it has nothing to do with Northern Ontario, but the project between Pickle Lake and Nipigon is of interest. They specifically mention the need to increase power for mining operations in the north.
