Back on earth.

Noront 1 month into Winter drill program.

3 km Northwest of Eagle's Nest along the footwall contact which may be continous to the southern edge of the Blue Jay extension...some 4 km. to the Northwest...along the same footwall granitic contact zone.

Last time we had exciting drill results of new mineralization of any kind was 2010. See map below of the region and the footwall that runs NW

From November 2010 PR

The recently identified footwall mineralization, though narrow, returnedelevated platinum, palladium, gold and copper which the Companybelieves represents a new style of mineralization, distinct from theEagle’s Nest nickel, copper sulphides. This mineralization is hostedwithin structures that splay off of the main Eagle’s Nest body into thesurrounding granitic host rocks (http://norontresources.com/find/id/53/k4). This interval is the second occurrence of footwall mineralizationproximal to Eagle’s Nest. The first was intersected in holeNOT-09-070W1 as noted in the Company’s press release dated December 8,2009.

Eagle’s Nest Footwall

Hole NOT-10-096 intersected 0.4 metres of 11.2 gpt Pt, 25.1 gpt Pd,2.08% Cu, 2.42 gpt Au

The most recent corporate presentation spells out Noront's interest in identifying this new Platinum/Palladium mineralization and with any luck the drill bit is coreing through it as we speak. In the same presentation, they include the fact that less than 4 km. of the 31 km. of this footwall has been explored.

What can we expect from Noront by year's end:

The Strategic Plan of Action as promised by Coutts at the AGM and PEA on the Chromite.

And perhaps and avian named zone of new platinum/palladium to add to our holdings despite the limited exploration Noront has untertaken since 2010.

Space mining might be the future but I'll take exploring the ROF over that any day...at least until Noront identifies Eagle 105 on a distant asteroid...and by then your shares will be in orbit and beyond.

Couldn't resist.
