I'm ok with dilution over time, if the company's end value is increasing in lock-step.

ie. if I have 1 million shares that are worth 1% of the company at the start, and then a decade later I still have a million shares and they only represent 0.1% of the company because there are 10x as many shares, BUT the actual inherent value (not market cap) is also 10x greater, then my investment is still worth the same despite dilution.

Of course, having said that, the whole point of investing is the hope that one's shares will appreciate as the value of the company appreciates.
