Knowing Trudeau, I can't see any of that money going to the "old economy" of oil and ressources.  Trudeau tries to cater to the younger people and even though younger people love their iPhones and want electric cars, they don't see the need to support mining to get those products to market.  They definitely have a disconnect between what they buy and where the products come for their manufacturing.  I could not see Trudeau getting any brownie points from the younger people by saying that he is supporting the mining industry.
