This board continues to act out of nothing but self interest. The strong endorsement of BHP is likely at least in part because Wyloo had said, with good reason, that they would remove the board if in control. By endorsing BHP Al and co could potentially get paid out (for years of dilution and inaction), and then continue to cash in as part of BHP.

shareholder interests have never been a consideration - not since RCF came to 'save' the day
