Carsten Beneker facing the Ring of Fire

And it burns, burns, burns – Carsten Beneker’s ollies are the hot stuff of Hanover, Germany.

Photographer Hendrik Herzmann was on "Monster Mission Tour" through Germany for German "Monster Skateboard" magazine – a "KOTR"-kind-of-deal with missions to fulfil, one of them ollieing through a Ring of Fire.

"The Hanover-locals surprised us with a perfectly executed ring," Herzmann recalls. "It was pretty narrow, but just big enough for Carsten who, after putting in a couple testruns, went for this frontside ollie through the fire."
