AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Have a great Sunday, especially those of you like me that are celebrating Orthodox Easter ... As well as those of you who are also like me and mourning another Maple Leafs Game 7 exit ... Ugggh!

Sincerely,

George et al

Update From Trinidad Site

As of March 28, 2010

Taunus Gold Deposit

  • Total diamond drill holes completed: 41 (approx. 9,000m drilled to date) - click here to view drill hole location map.
  • Hole 09TR044: still drilling (current depth of approx. 300+m) ; hole is located approx. 75m from hole 32. Objective is to continue extending the high-grade Taunus South target zone to the south (in the Inferred category), and to discover a new gold zone at a deeper level.
  • Hole 09TR043: completed at a depth of 515m; assays pending
  • Hole 09TR042: located south of the pit, target is 75 metres west of hole 09TR038 to extend the near surface Eldorado South gold zones (12.8m of 1.6 g/t gold). Completed at a depth of 170m.
  • Hole 09TR041: (completed) - intersected 40.9 metres of 11.9 g/t gold adding significant known mineralization to the geological model.
  • Hole 09TR040: (completed) - objective is to test a geophysical (IP) target east of the Chandler fault
  • Hole 09TR039: (completed) - objective is to intersect shallow mineralization from Eldorado TTC-126 (24m @ 1.5g/t). Hole intersected several anomalous narrow gold intervals indicating additional potential in the Eldorado South zone.
  • Hole 09TR035/38: (completed) - Step-Out - objective is to extend high-grade south of hole 09TR020 (5.3 g/t gold over 13.4m and 4.1 g/t gold over 13.0m), and over 290 metres south of HS Zone. Hole lost due to driller error being re-drilled as Hole 38 (completed). Hole 38 intersected 12.8 metres of 1.6 g/t gold in the area of the Eldorado South zone.
  • Hole 09TR036/37: (completed) - objective is to intersect HS zone 50 metres to the west of hole 09TR022 (8.6 g/t gold over 20.9m and 17.4 g/t gold over 10.1m). Both holes were drilled from the same location north of the pit and were abandoned prior to reaching target depth due to difficult ground conditions.Hole 09TR034: (completed) - Drilled from the same location as 34A and was a shallow hol to test near surface potential. This hole intersected 4 metres of 8.64 g/t gold at a depth of 20 metres, indicating potential for additional near surface gold resource above the HS zone.
  • Hole 09TR034A: (completed) - was drilled in order to collect a representative sample of the HS zone for metallurgical analysis and to test for deeper gold potential below the HS zone. The diamond drill hole intersected 34.5 metres of 8.7 g/t gold. This interval includes 5.0 metres of 23.9 g/t gold (or 10 metres of 16.0 g/t gold). Metallurgical testwork indicated gold recovery up to 97% on samples taken in the HS zone.
  • Hole 09TR034: (completed) - drilled from the same location as 34A and was a shallow hole to test near surface potential. This hole intersected 4 metres of 8.64 g/t gold at a depth of 20 metres, indicating potential for additional near surface gold resource above the HS zone.

Drill Progress: the drilling rate (speed) at Trinidad is slower than what is considered normal because of the difficult ground conditions. The Company is continuing to improve drilling and has had a drill specialist on site who was devoted full time to improve all aspects of drilling. A reverse circulation drill rig is expected in 2010 to pre-collar the diamond-drill set-ups enabling Oro to get down faster and allow completion of deeper diamond drill holes. Approval has been received to de-water the pit. This would allow us to drill test the deep targets.

Trinidad District

  • Drilling commencing at San Cristobal, 12 km south east of Taunus open pit with 1000 metres of RC drilling planned. Goal is to make a discovery that can add resource gold ounces.
  • Surface exploration completed at El Habal prospect (located 15 km west-northwest of Taunus); drill targets prioritized.
  • Surface exploration in the northern and western portions of the Trinidad property included prospecting, mapping, sampling and trenching in various areas to identify and prioritize drill targets. Several new gold zones have been discovered and are currently being followed-up. Drill-testing is planned during the dry season latter part of Q4 and early 2010. Three project areas being focused on: Trinidad, Rosario and Tigra Negra - current focus in Trinidad (including El Salto), and Rosario and Tigra Negra projects to commence in Q2-Q3. Objective is to discover and advance 3 gold new targets.
