04:09 PM EST, 01/09/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) on Thursday said drilling at its Windfall gold project in northern Quebec encountered very high-grade gold mineralization.
The company said best results from the deposit definition and expansion program included 266 grams per tonne of gold over two meters, 106 gpt over four meters and 135 gpt over 2.5 meters.
"Drilling continues to deliver positive results and demonstrate the strong continuity of grade inside the known mineralized zones, many of which remain open in at least one direction," chief executive John Burzynski said in a release.
The company said the results will be included in a new resource estimate for the project expected next month.
Osisko Mining shares closed up C$0.05 to C$3.81 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
