08:10 AM EDT, 07/14/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) on Tuesday said infill drilling at the Lynx deposit on its Windfall gold project in northern Quebec showed additional high-grade mineralization.

The company said best results from assays on cores from 16 holes included 199 grams per tonne of gold over five meters and 103 gpt of gold over 2.7 meters.

"Each new set of infill drilling is confirming our confidence in our model, and moves us closer to the necessary spacing we require for the indicated resource we will use in our feasibility study next year. Lynx is eclipsing the original Windfall deposit we acquired in 2015, and continues to give us very pleasant surprises as we drill out the system," chief executive John Burzynski said in a release.

Osisko Mining shares closed down C$0.14 to C$3.72 Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
