Outlook Resources Inc. Annual Shareholders' Meeting Highlights

COMPANY TO ESTABLISH ADVISORY BOARD

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 20, 2009) - Outlook Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:OLR) reported today the results of its January 16, 2009, Annual General and Special Shareholders' Meeting held in Toronto. With approximately 20 shareholders in attendance, representing 31% of the Company's outstanding capital, all motions before the shareholders were passed. The meeting featured a candid discussion with President and CEO John Bottomley who highlighted Outlook's progress against its business expansion plan and progress over the previous year. Bottomley outlined immediate planning priorities and then addressed questions and comments from shareholders in attendance in a roundtable forum following the formal part of the meeting.

During the roundtable discussions Bottomley advised of the Company's growing momentum with customers seeking larger supplies of its farm raised, antibiotic free, Arctic Charr. "We have been working very hard to complete the expansion plans undertaken in September 2007 with the goal of making our aquaculture operation the industry leader that we all know it is capable of being. We are fortunate to be known as a company that consistently delivers a quality, heart healthy, eco-friendly product that in turn delivers value to our customers, our shareholders and employees. The aquaculture operation is approaching profitability, which should be attained later this year. Additionally, the Company is finalizing plans for further on-site expansion of its existing operations in Manitoba," Bottomley stated.

Five nominees were elected to the Board to serve until such time as their respective successors are duly elected. Three of the five directors, Perry Rapagna (nominated from the floor), David Richter and Floyd Stanley (candidates put forth), are newly elected to the Board (see below) and their appointments are subject to regulatory approval. Re-elected to the Board are John Bottomley, President, CEO and a Director since April 20, 1999, and William R. Johnstone, Corporate Secretary and a Director since June 26, 2001.

The meeting also resulted in management announcing its intention to move ahead with the establishment of an Advisory Board. Details and bios for the members of the newly formed Advisory Board will be made public in the coming weeks.
