I wonder if SH understands the gravity of the situation.
I site I used to frequent called Digg made the same mistake. They made too many changes too quickly without any consultation with the user base.
Almost overnight the site was abandoned and the user base migrated from
Digg to reddit. We're talking about a site valued at $160M which would ultimately sell for $0.5M.
I think the fate of SH is sealed. It's ironic that a site built around sharing info mainly about capitalist activites would fail so miserably - as though there was no competition for their user base.
