Message: what am I missing?

POET's legwork is done. Once qualifications in customers are completed, POET "becomes part of those customers' products or their sub-assemblies" (paraphrased from Suresh).

We are racing towards the finish line now readying for volume orders. In the meantime, POET has arranged its fabless infrastructure to deal with that. That background work might be what people are missing in terms of understanding POET's progress. Products are the end-game, but the logistics need to be coordinated and the customers' expectations as well. Also, POET said it would need to cash-up to win the confidence of customers. The double-ege sword is that usually tier 1 companies are leary of dealing with start-ups that have no working capital. Without proper working capital, how can a start-up do what they are expected to do reliably for tier 1 customers? Well Suresh's latest moves as per the last 2 or 3 NRs basically tell us what progress has been achieved and where POET is going next, along with a timeline to Sept. 2019. At this stage, it cannot be more real than that. POET has something tier 1 customers need. One way or another, it will get there and they will get by with a little help of their friends.
