To all,

SV gave an execllent prez. All the compnents are done and dusted! (complete and tested). Lots of good stuff to think over. Lots of hints if you were paying attention. Listen to the web cast again if you are not sure. Lots of focus around the one customer and the 400G. SV made several comments that they had been working on de-risking all areas of the solution. Focus and lower risk. Music to a  Project Manager's ears.

We spent considerale time going through questions having to do with the Sale of Denselight and the two payments. The lady from Denslight Inc did a nice jiob of explaining how money is moved out of China these days. She repeatedly deferred to the 3 tier process held by the Chinese Gov't. Keep in mind that China runs a closed currency.

In the end, I think that most people in the room understood that the two payment approach was necessary and that, in no way, is the sale of Denselight at risk. We will know the amount of the 1st payment by Oct 1st when the new shareholder (voting) documents are sent out.

Secondly, the rasing of funds is done for now. And Thomas Mika said that with the first payment he would have enough $ to pay the bridge loan (required to close the deal). POET would also have sufficient funds to run POET for quite a while given the new head count from the Fab Light operations. SV also spoke to building the new Clean Room and the other office related needs.

Lastly, the meal and drinks afterwards, with many of the attendees and board members, was a treat. Lots of good people are invested in POET and POET is lead by a strong multi-disiplinary team. Just need to close out with the one infamous (or famous) customer!

MS

PS if you remember my question about funding was not required as both the fund raising is done for now and Thomas explained how he would fund POET going forward.
