So if I am understanding this correctly, then Cisco's routers basically become an optical router containing silicon one chips. Now Cisco wants to get into the transceiver market. So since Cisco's Silcon One technology in its routers increases throughput, then the connections between routers becomes very important (maybe even further on a circuit board between Silicon One chips)? Poet's OI then should have an appeal to Cisco for a more complete solution. The OI would be scalable and alleviate any bottlenecks between transmitting and receiving devices/nodes also in a smaller footprint and at a reduced cost. As routers data flow continues to grow, Poet's OI can be scalable to what goes on inbetween for possible iterations of product evolvment.
