Message: How is POET used to integrate silicon photonics.

FJ - that is interesting. I always wondered if/when we would see an evolution of the FPGA (field programmable gate array) to include optical characteristics.

Maybe something like a FPOA (field programmable optical array) or a FPOGA (field programmable optical gate array).

Wouldn't that be fun!

Maybe POET will be the progenitor of some new industry acronyms - not that there aren't enough already.
