Message: Lumenge, post of the year!!!!!

Having been formally informed that the sale of DenseLight was completed, I don't find the angst here over tranche payments very productive. I personally also accept IR's explanation re cash flow, this Boiler Plate statement would nevertheless have been authorised by management and when one considers the number of regular posters so informed by IR.  I take this as PTI management's action to quell the perceived 'storm in a teacup'.

Is it then really necessary to agonise over the pros and cons of tranche payments particularly when this takes our eyes off the real action going on the front line.  Which for me was heralded in November's CC, the whole point being, besides introducing our new President, to demonstrate that a substantial turning point had occurred in the company's progress from technical development to commercialisation i.e. 'Opening the flood gates'.  We have never really quite got a handle here on just what this means.

To summarise my point of view, the DL sale is behind us, resolving funding concerns, the technology and development of a product is now in the hands of our first Tier One Customer, resolving our technical concerns.

Check back to the announcement of 12 Nov 2018 at

https://poet-technologies.com/news/2018-nov-12.html

This announcement was the first orders for POET OI solution which was given priority focus for the year. 'Opening the floodgates' effectively means that the company is now in the process of attracting new orders from other potential customers, whilst also setting up the new Canada based centre of excellence to resolve the technical requirements of these new customers by tweaking the POET OI platform to meet customers specifications. All this has to be done whilst employing the highest level of security.  Regardless of how much we desire the instant gratification of regular news I feel the Company will be tight lipped until mandatory reports are due.

At some point I would expect that Sales based literature on the POET offer will  emerge with appropriate aplomb.  Which is what may be in every likelihood being currently being prepared and why IR has been instructed to give a boiler plate response to concerned investors.  I feel some sort of launch to 'opening the floodgates' must be in the offing and that management knows that our concerns will be salved by its arrival if only we could be patient.
